Signalment: 12 week old puppy presented for routine wellness visit. Owners noted a lesion on the side that they ascribed to self-trauma while trying to get through a fence. Scrape, Pluck, Smear. Then Click on the "Click for Answer" link to the right for the answer.

MAST CELLS!

Histopathology demonstrating Mast cells

Mast cells provide growth factors for fibrocytes. Eosinophils provide growth factors for Mast cells and vice versa.
